The Rules of Toon HQ *Updated 10/26/11

Here are the rules:

No cursing, flaming, or trolling.

Cursing, flaming, or trolling will result in a one day-forever ban, depending on what you have said.


No rude/mean behavior!

Rude/mean behavior toward a staff member, a member, or toward the site in general, is NOT aloud. Although, if you say something about a clan like "There are some mean people in that clan" is aloud or "there is some mean people on ToonHQ." is also aloud. But saying that someone is directly "mean" or "bad" or "stupid" is CERTAINLY not aloud.


Keep it PG-rated.

Toon HQ is a PG-rated site. Inappropriate content is NOT permitted. If you are unaware of the rules, or have a question about them, PM an admin, and we will decide what to do. (Admins: Lady Trickster, Miss Mandy, Wonderwoof)

No advertising.

Mentioning names of websites is permitted, however if you say "Go to this website! It's awesome!". We will punish you as we seem correct.

Note, some websites, such as ToonTown fansites, are permitted.

No bad website links.

Here in Toon HQ we do NOT accept any bad links to scary, disturbing, or innapropriate images/videos AT ALL. We will punish you as we see correct.

Also, we do NOT appreciate postings of website links that lead to things such as:

*Spam
*Innapropriate Images
*Innaparopriate Videos
*Cursing
*Rude or Mean Behavior
*Videos/Pictures of Scary or Disturbing Images
*Giving out of Personal Info

*No Giving Out Of Personal Info*

Giving out personal info puts you in danger and us responible. We do not want ANYONE getting hurt or even put at risk because they gave out their personal info on our site. We cannot force you to not put it out on other sites, but we HIGHLY suggest you DO NOT. It can lead to terrible things happening to you. Remember, you don't know who is on the other side of that computer, no matter what they say or what you think, because remember, people can lie.

*No Lying!*

Please, for the comfort for us, and everyone else, including yourself, keep everything pure and truthful. It keeps our job easy, and everyone else's lives fun. It is not nice to lie, and it also is considered mean and rude, and if you do it, you will break 2 rules, which means worse punishment. Keep this in mind when you are about to lie.

This is VERY important as Toon HQ is a PG rated site and there might be young children among us who do not appreciate these things, and it might bother them.. Please, please, PLEASE keep these things away from this site! Older members might not like it, but it might not bother them as much.

Everybody is equal/racism.

Here in Toon HQ, everybody is equal. No matter of race, religion, etc. We do NOT allow bulling because somebody is a different skin color. That is called racism and is not tollerated. Please keep in mind that if you make fun of somebody because of there skin, religion, etc. you will be banned for a day. Do it again? A week. Do it again? A month. Do it again? You will be banned forever.

Hacking, Cheating, and/or Glitching.

Hacking
Hacking is pretty much just breaking into somebody's account and stealing information (and/or deleting information). So, lets say you are a registered user OR a guest and you got mad at a staff member and you wanted to delete that staff member for revenge. That is already a big no no. If you delete that staff member, YOU WILL BE PUNISHED! This is NOT ok! Not only are you breaking into somebody else's property BUT you are also DELETING INFORMATION. Hacking = Big No No!

Cheating/Cheat Codes
The deal with cheating is....if you use cheat codes that do not follow our rules, we will delete that cheat code! Some cheat codes are NOT hurtful but others are. So please NO cheat codes unless an admin gave you permission OR it is already on our site. That doesn't mean to hack into our site and put it on it! As that, is already discussed in the "Hacking" section.

Glitches
Now, glitching on accident is perfectly fine! But, glitching to hurt our site or to mess with a Foe is NOT COOL! It puts extra work on our Tech Staff and extra work on us! We do not allow any glitch at all! Now, if you find a glitch, REPORT IT TO A MEMBER OF THE TECH STAFF AT ONCE! We will do our best to fix it!

OFF TOPIC POSTS

Off topic posts can be annoying. It also can create more work for our staff. You cannot be punished for this, as we feel that's careless, (unless you are a staff member) and wrong.

*What is Off Topic Posts?*
Off Topic posts are random posts that do not fit with the subject of the content you have posted in. If the topic is about books, and you simply post "LOL" or "PIE" it is off topic, and will be edited or removed.

Now, if you want to make an off topic subject (unreleated to toontown or any other topics we have) we do have a topic called "Off Topic" which is JUST for that. But, off topic POSTS on the off topic TOPIC is not aloud. Let's say the topic is about "Do you like Harry Potter?" and you post in there saying "I hate Hannah Montana (just as an example), it is off topic, and will be edited or removed.

[b]Toontown Hacking Discussions

Discussing about Hackers is alllowed but discussing about hacking equipment is NOT allowed. Why? Because little ones on this site don't want to hear about that.

Songs

We have NOTHING wrong with music. However, music/songs that have innappropriate meanings or words are NOT allowed. We do not want to see stuff like that ever.



No insane posting!

If you post threads or comments in each forum, saying random, stupid stuff like "WHATEVER" or "LOL" or "HAHAHAHA" then it will be considered "Insane Posting". We do not punish for off topic posts, however, insane posting is a EXTREME rude way of off topic posts. It causes a LOT of pressure and hassle on the staff, and you may be punished for doing insane posting. You can post in every forum, as long as it goes with the subject, is not random, and is not just to get at the staff. Please keep the staff in mind as you post. Thank-you.


[b]All rules are written by our staff. We work hard to keep this site running smoothly. Keep in mind that.





All staff members have the right to delete ANY post they wish. But, we only delete a post for certain reasons.



*Note, we as the staff, have the right to change, adjust any rules as needed to fit the site. If you break a new rule, it is still considered wrong, and we will deal with you just as we would any other time, so please make sure you keep track of the rules, so you know them, and, are following them.

Thanks for posting! Not as strict as TTC, thank goodness. :)

No problem guys. I know, we are trying our best not be as strict as TTC or TT Noobs as we think that is very unfair. But, we are still firm (which means if somebody does something that isn't following the rules, we give them a quick reminder).

Yeah, TTC is way too strict.

Yeah :D That's one of our goals. Note that we do not have an off topic rule like TTC does! lol. We don't ban people for random posting...We just edit them! lol. This is a kid/teenager site O_O kids and teenagers are random nowadays lol.
